Asked Questions
These are some of the most frequently asked questions we receive from interested potential clients. Read through, and if you don’t see the answer you are looking for, contact us today!
How long does pest control take?
It depends on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the size of your space and the severity of the pest problem, the time can vary greatly. We have had clients whose services only took 30 minutes, and we have had clients whose services took upwards of 8 hours. As soon as you suspect there is a pest problem in your space, contact us and we will handle the problem quickly so it doesn’t become a more serious problem.
How are pests getting into my space?
Depending on the size and nature of the pest, they can get into your space in a wide range of ways. For example ants, roaches and small insects can get in through impossibly small spaces in your foundation or the overall structure of your home.
If it is a larger pest like a rat, there is a good chance they have dug a hole into your foundation or through a vulnerable spot in a wall and have been using this as an access point.
No matter the case, Tessier Pest Control will identify the source of the pest problem and repair it so they can no longer cause your space any harm. Contact us today!
Is pest control safe for kids and pets?
We ensure that all chemicals we use for our pest control services are EPA approved, and are the same chemicals used in sensitive buildings such as hospitals and schools. All of our technicians have been thoroughly trained on all safety protocols so you can rest assured your lets and children will not suffer any effects from our chemical pest treatments. Contact us today and we will be happy to get started restoring your space to its former glory!
Should I leave during exterminator treatment?
Your certified pest control expert will advise you whether it is important for you or your coworkers/loved ones to leave the building while the treatment is being performed. Some treatments can take a couple of hours to dry on surfaces, so in these cases, it may be wise to step out for the afternoon to not disturb the setting treatment. Contact us today to get started!
When should I call pest control?
As soon as you are aware of the presence of pests in your space, you should be calling pest control to handle the situation. Our team here at Tessier will work diligently and efficiently to identify what pest has made its way into your space. We will also determine the entry point into your space and seal it off to prevent the issue from getting any worse than it already is.
